Crucial Rule: Central List vs. State Certificate Validity

For admission to Central Universities (DU, JNU, BHU, TISS, SAU), State-level OBC certificates are not accepted. Your caste MUST be present in the Central List of OBCs published by the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC). Furthermore, your OBC-NCL or EWS certificate must be issued on or after March 31, 2024 (for current session) or March 31, 2025 (for the upcoming academic cycle).
